Key Stage 2
Heads Up Kids offers age-appropriate programmes from Reception through to Year 6. Each programme builds emotional literacy, emotional regulation, positive relationships, confidence and resilience in a way that reflects the children’s stage of development.
A programme that grows with the child
Across Years 3, 4 and 5, children build confidence, self-esteem and resilience. They learn to work collaboratively, approach friendship difficulties more thoughtfully and develop strategies they can use when otions or situations feel difficult.
Year 3 introduces the core emotional skills and helps build trust and cohesion within the class.
Year 4 consolidates that learning, encouraging teachers and children to use the language of the programme across the wider curriculum and in everyday situations.
Year 5 explores ideas including gratitude, resourcefulness, positive relationships and the choices children can make when faced with challenge.
Each year includes 12 structured sessions, supported by teacher training and classroom resources.
