Why wellbeing?
Heads Up Kids is a charity promoting positive mental health education in primary schools. We deliver this through our social and emotional wellbeing curriculum. We offer our CPD accredited teacher training, programmes and resources to schools at no cost, to ensure that schools can access preventative mental health support.

Children cannot ask for what they cannot name
Every child has feelings, but understanding them takes time, language and practice. A child may know that something feels wrong without knowing whether they are worried, angry, embarrassed, lonely or overwhelmed.
Wellbeing education gives children a way to notice what is happening inside them and communicate it safely.
